Church Hall Refurbishment New Update
July 2008
The Large and Small halls are now fully refurbished with new heating and lighting installed. A toilet with disabled facilities has also been installed. Some of the front elevation windows have been re-glazed and an expert has re-glazed the front leaded windows; the doors to the front of the large hall will also be re-stained.
Plans are being finalised to install a new kitchen attached to the halls. We look forward to this new development which will add a new dimension to the use of the halls.
The upstairs rooms are being used by "Young Life" as an office and meeting space for young people in Hertford

NOTE: Although we have completed the first stage of our plans by making the halls fully functional, we intend to carry on with our plans to build a link between the church and the halls and installing more toilets and a kitchen. thus making the buildings more accessible and useful for the people of Hertford as a Community facility. The Halls have a lively and valuable past; to ensure its future we need to act soon.
